"their" is plural

... and there is usually a way of keeping it that way.

This comes from a piece on an expensive studio flat, which

"offers the occupant the chance to shower in their kitchen"

Why not "occupants" or "the kitchen"?

What a difference an 'e' makes.

"Groom-to-be's wedding is cancelled when he punches his fiance in the nose on the eve of their big day"


I checked, and he was going to marry a female....
